PROJECT: Euro

Challenge:

Communicate the transition to the euro as Croatia’s official currency in a clear, engaging, and emotionally reassuring way. The key challenge was to avoid confusion and fear, emphasizing that the euro is not a foreign element but our currency.

Our Idea:

“Euro. Our money.”

Instead of traditional, institutional messaging, we created an impactful animated spot that brought Croatian euro coins to life, each featuring a recognizable national symbol. Through visual storytelling, rhythm, and simplicity, we built a campaign that informs while building trust and pride.

Creative execution:

A dynamic animated TV spot, where the euro coins become the main characters. Each coin moves in a rhythm, revealing Croatian identity symbols that are now part of the common European currency. A bold, clear visual style combined with rhythmic music and minimal but crystal-clear messaging. The spot ends with the campaign line:

“Euro. Our money.”

Why Does It Work?

Because it takes a complex economic process and makes it feel human, familiar, and easy to understand. The animation grabs attention, evokes emotion, and highlights national pride through well-known symbols. The campaign successfully blends information with identity, creating trust and clarity.
